       I used to have dial up. But that did not last forever. I had so much trouble with dial-up

because it interrupts the computer action just by receiving a call. One person online that i

know would get signed off during instant message multiple times because of dial-up.

One friend has dialup and you can hear the phone dialing. Plus, its a slow service.

It is a service to get you online, but its not the best type. You can click on a link

and get a blank page or error page sometimes on dialup. My friend told me

her dial up costs $13.00 and the way it acts up, its not even worth that much.

 IF you are new to the computer world, I just want to let you know that there are other options.

Highspeed and broadband are the best. IF you are using dial-up, don’t you want better?

Don’t you deserve better internet service? High speed is like relaxing at a famous and

beautiful location. Dial up is like walking to a far away location with a lot of stuff to carry.

Ok,dsl/ high speed internet cost more but its still the best. ITs’ not too expensive. I”m so

impressed with dsl/high speed internet that i’m just grateful that the service has

blessed my computer time. I’m just so amazed by high speed internet that I’m surprised

dial-up still exists. Dial-up is old news. IT will get online but won’t keep you there.

DSL is like taking walking up the mountain. Dial-up is like crawling up the mountain

at baby pace. Yes, so dsl is the winner. DSL/high speed internet same high quality service.

         You know what I learned about glass art? ILearned that Egyptians

used furnaces 5000 years ago to make small vessels that involved

a technique called core-forming. Glass, clay, sand, and dung

is the matted mixture they used to wrap around a metal mandrel,

then moled it into the shape of the vessel they wanted. Then dried.

After that artisans would heat cane in the vent-hole at the top

of the furnace and wrap the  softened cane around the core.

           This causes elaborate decorations and beautiful objects to

be made. ALso,  they were considered very important in the

Egyptian society so therefore, cared for in burial tombs so

that they are in great condition today. The site that deserves

         Now, i have more to say on glass art. I love the way glass

reflects like a prism and looks like a rainbow. I think that’s really intersting. I

love the way glass goes around a drink. You get a different feel than using a

cup and different taste I’m told and actually notice anyways. I don’t hear

about too many showcases of glass art, but I know there’s got to be some.

It would be nice if more states had them. Then you would see some thing like

I’ve always thought it was cool how they can make different sounds from

glass.

            But I’ve wondered how someone can sing so high they can break

glass. Amazing how the voice affects glass.  Back to glass music though,

              Umbrellas are another form of design. I especially enjoy the

spiral colors on umbrellas and the see through umbrellas like the

          I notice more umbrellas because of Umbrella song by Rihanna.

When I listen to the song I’m in the zone so deep it feels

like I’m mesmerized by such sound. And if i could make

a new word it would be Umbrellarize (umbrella, mesmerize combined)

Black history- My favorite topic. There should be more than one black history

class at every college, high school, middle school, elementary school because black

people contributed alot. Not everybody will self teach themselves. But I thank God

for the internet and books on black history because it should NOT be shadowed.

IT should be put into the spotlight and highlighted and showcased over

and over and over again.

                I research black inventors online at many sites.  Thomas L. Jennings

patented the dry cleaning process in 1821.

Norbert Rillieux-black person who refined sugar

Elijah MCcoy- invented a lubricator for steam engines.

Lewis Latimer-invented the carbon filament for bulbs and electric lamp

Granville T. Woods-invented the telegraph

Madame C.J. Walker-invented hair care system and other beauty products

Garrett A. Morgan-invented gas mask, traffic signals

Frederick McKinley Jones- invented the automatic refrigeration system for long haul trucks.

David Crosthwait- professional on heating, ventilation and air conditioning. He designed

  i have many times informed people about black inventions and will forever.

I should work in a black history museum.

College can always be better. I figure its best to know what you going into before you

get into it.  So, therefore, colleges should all have seminars where you can ask the professors

about their syllabus, view it , and just have an organized session.

 You should be able to learn more about the classes

you want to take before you take them. I think that’s a way of avoiding too many

withdrawals from classes.

           I was informed by the college registrar that withdrawing

too many times will look iffy to job employers.  She said it will make them think

you start something but don’t finish it. I think its unfair to just jump to that

conclusion about it. No one can completely know what the class will be like

untill they take it. But sometimes classes don’t suit a person’s interest so

they drop it. But what is most important is finishing college so that says

alot about the fact that they really DID NOT quit college so they are

not to be assumed to quit everything they start.

     I have withdrawed from classes but not alot of times but just a few. 

I took a boring class about the dead and it was

under another title. But it was a strangely boring class. But before I looked

at the syllabus but still did not know exactly

what it was going to be like. I find the syllabus at my old college

to be general sometimes when it needs to be more specific.

  And I want to emphasize that more colleges should have seminars

where students can get the syllabus to find out MORE

about what the class is going to be like.  For instance,

you don’t know how many presentations the class is

going to require. You don’t know how many group

assignments until you ask. The homework load could

be too much and it might not work out with your

current schedules. Its more than one thing that

could clash if you take the wrong class. Don’t you

think it would be better the way I stated?

Graduation was a blast. I graduated hs a long time ago June 3, 2004 in the state

of Michigan. Oh, what a day! To end a level I wanted to leave so much because the closer  I get

to getting my degree the better. ANyways, about graduation- um, I was informed at last

minute notice to get a white dress. But I already went and bought my dress before I was

informed of what to wear. So, I got me a black dress with the pink flower. IT fits really

nice, classy , elegant with the pink shoes to match. I ended up being the only one wearing

black in the high school graduation class hilarious! It makes me giggle so much. But

I had fun. I saw the people I know and everybody was surprised I’m sure. But

yeah, I wanted to wear something different anyway. So that works out just fine.

Oh yeah, so I got to see the wonderful people and I just felt so relaxed. To have

completed such a task is less to have to think about. It was such a memorable day

and i went out and got some pizza.

 Which one am I? AM I the one who plays detective or the one who

just makes an assumption? Am the one to fit with the crowd or have my

own particular function? Do you think I speak like a lawyer who could get

justice for a case? Could you seee me as hard-working when challenges show

their face? Would you think my friends are wonderful and general or specific

and terrific? Is creativity in my nature or am I all about being the technical

whiz? Do I like or dislike taking a quiz? Could I be the type to go on screen or

do I really really really want to control what is seen on the screen behind

the scenes? Which one am I? Either I am the person who sees what is obvious

or get the deeper meaning, Which one am I? Am I late, on time, or do I swing

high and do things ahead of time? Which one am I?

I wonder about kids since I’ve babysitted them before. What do they think

about? Especially babies. Maybe babies think about floating popsicles and

flying rattles but I don’t know lol. Anyways, I have babysitted before and

it can be the longest chore. Attention Attention, and more attention-that’s

what they crave. But boys can be so hyper. Its like male kids most of the time

don’t sit still unless they are eating. But I realize that computer games

can make them sit down and focus. So I go to various sites where the

little boy can have fun and also sit down at the same time

                 Also, its good to make up stories even if the kids don’t

have a book. I just made up my own character and the little boy

constantly wants to hear the story. He remembers stuff and fills

it in and then wants me to tell the story again.

               Second, I wonder why its so hard for kids to go to sleep like when babysitting.

I’ve been told because they don’t want to miss anything.

But it would all be so great if there were a healthy lotion

prescribed by doctors that you could rub on the kid’s

face once a day to make them stop resisting sleep each night.

But then people might try to use that on adults. That

would be funny-a sleepy world. Yes, so someone I know

said they might try to use it on adults.

        Third, I found an article about the sleeping habits of kids. So this

will be good use to keep kids sleeping longer. The site says have a wake up schedule

and bed-time schedule. Do not let them sleep too late on weekends.

Under a doctor’s guidance, you could give the child the melatonin. But I’m

going to state the site with this info in a bit. Encourage reading, chatting,

and soothing activities around 30 minutes before going to bed. The site

Bills, utilities and rent are high enough. They know they need to cut the gas prices.

I remember hearing on the news a while back that gas would get up to 5 dollars over the

summer. Glad that did not happen. But they are starting to make gas prices higher again.

It was said in the article on the following website that gas prices went up because

the oil costs more:

            In the article, it said that gas prices might get up to $3.50 or $4.00

by next summer. Uh, well its probably just something to get people worried.

They can’t possibly know for sure. After all gas did not get to be $5.00 this

summer so they really can’t guarantee that. It probably won’t. Someone

will come up with a way to get it down again maybe. There should be a

law against higher gas prices. They need to consider the consumer

and notice how hard it is for a person with medium wage and limited

budget. Some people are rich and not, Some people will get rich later on.

But until then the people need help now. The world would be so much

better if the right people who were in charge would stop talking so

much about what they want to do and NOT doing it. They should

be talking about improving gas and doing that but chopping prices

like a saw to the bush. Anyways, why is oil going up anyways? I just

don’t know.
